Comments policy
The comments facility was introduced to provide our visitors with an opportunity to add to the knowledge we have on our area, to educate and to entertain.
Terms of Use
- Comments must be truthful, not knowingly inaccurate and relevant to the image, or its associations, to which they are attached.
- Comments must not contain email addresses, postal addresses or website addresses.
- Comments must not be directed to individuals or groups.
- Comments must be original and must not contain copyrighted or plagiarized material.
- Comments must not violate or infringe the rights of any third parties, including copyright, trademark, personal, publicity, or proprietary rights. Where possible and appropriate we recommend that you seek permission to share the stories of the people your comments may be based upon.
- We will not publish any comments that contain unlawful, offensive, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material.
- Comments will only be published at the discretion of the site administrators. Our decision is final and we will not enter into any correspondence on the subject.
- You own the copyright to your comment submissions, but by submitting them to the site you also agree to grant the site administrator’s, and Stockton Borough Council, a perpetual, royalty free, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your submissions. If you do not wish to grant such rights it is suggested that you do not submit your comments to the site.
